New News and things you can pray for.

Hey all thanks for checking in with us again. We have been in a fury of activity since we got the news. Kristen has been shopping voraciously pulling all the necessities together. She even got kidnapped the other night by a bunch of girls in our neighborhood who took her on a 2 hour target shopping blitzkrieg. Our home looks like a babies r us truck exploded in the living room, We are drowning in rubber nipples, burp clothes, and medicated wipes. All in all it is very exciting.

In other news we heard from our case-worker yesterday and we are looking forward to our first phone meeting with our birth mother. Kristen and I are both excited and terrified as we have begun to talk and pray through the questions that we want to bring to this meeting. We would appreciate your prayers for Tuesday. Our phone call is at 2pm and we are really just need God to pour out his grace onto that conversation. Pray that we would both be blessed by this meeting and that it would only further confirm God's hand in all of our lives.

We also would ask for prayer for our birthmother during these last weeks of her pregnancy as these will be difficult and exhausting days for her. Pray that she would have strength and sense God near.

We are so thankful for you all during this season. What a blessed and amazingly supportive community you are.

much love
-matt

My prayers are with you and Kristen...congratulations!! Even though we don't know one another personally, I feel privileged to share this precious time in your life through your photos and blog. My children are nearly grown,(16 and 18) but every moment with them has been a treasure and I am so thankful every day for being able to witness such awesome people as they blossom. I wish you three the same and more! The joy of being a parent is centered around the intensity of God's love - undeniable as you watch His creation- a gift for which He chose you to nurture and love - as she discovers and realizes all the gifts God has blessed them with. I wish your family joy, health, and happiness!

Peace in Him,
Eileen

Matt and Kristen,

I'm not if you check these or not.. but i want you to know how dearly you're both loved. i'm praying for you both unceasingly right now...i pray that God will give you the stength to get through this time.

in a gift bag i made for Jars this past week, i included a note for Matt [i'm not sure if he got it or not]. if both of you have some spare time this week, check out the first chapter of 1st Samual. i'm not sure why, but i felt like God wanted me to tell you to read it...

God will give you a baby in his perfect timing, Matt and Kristen.. i know God is gonna give you one in his timing, and not before. in the mean time, just keep on praying and trusting in Him. He loves you both so very much, and so do i. :)

God Bless,
Liz Terrell
